I am an Independent that leans a little Left of Center. However, after observing, listening and wondering what the Far Left has in store for Americans, this year I am leaning a little Right of Center. We hear the Radical Left scream that McCain is another “Bush Term”. But, if you check his record, McCain is really a Maverick. If any candidate emulates Bush, it is the Obama/Biden ticket. Same repertoire just the Democratic version. The Democrats need to get over the comparison of Bush to McCain because they are throwing the spotlight on themselves.

The “Do nothing Congress” is another lynchpin in this saga being forced down the throats of Americans. Democrats scream about gas prices, yet veto drilling offshore, creating more Nuclear Power plants, etc. and would rather talk “wind.” No matter what, ANY form of alternative energy will take 5-10 years to be able to affect our dependence on foreign oil. BUT we need to START sometime! As McCain puts it: “Do everything from drilling to wind to solar to clean coal technology to natural gas, etc.” Americans are looking for jobs; well here you go! Energy stability and exploration creates millions of jobs.

I still don’t think either candidate gets it yet about education. First, stop teacher tenure. The worst teachers are allowed to keep their jobs through tenure. America needs to follow Georgia’s lead and remove tenure. Bad teachers in Georgia lose their jobs. Teacher pay is another. Pay teachers well. You cannot recruit or give incentive for young professionals to teach if they make more working as computer specialists! Discipline: We need to give discipline back to families and our schools. Lack of discipline encourages ill behavior in students and disruption of classrooms. Students need boundaries not a “free teaching environment.”

Healthcare: I feel an investigation into malpractice of Insurance companies needs to be started. Especially HMO’s. Americans need to READ the policies of health insurance companies. Don’t assume because you have a health insurance plan that they will pay all the fees for health care. Most only pay 80% of “approved fees”. That means if you have a blood test that costs $100.00 (hypothetical), but your insurance covers only an approved fee of $50.00, then 80% is equal to $40.00 paid, leaving you to cover $60.00. If you want to blame anyone else for the high cost of medical care, blame hospital corporations and physicians. Hospitals owned by corporations make an ungodly profit each year. Physicians make ungodly wages each year. Go to a “Specialist” Physician and you will pay at least $200.00 for the “initial visit”; and how long do you see them? Maybe ten minutes? That equals to almost $1,200.00 per hour that “specialist” makes. So to lower healthcare for Americans you have to look at the whole picture; Insurance companies, healthcare corporations as well as physicians. Lower caps before “Catastrophic” 100% medical payments begin.

National Security: Simple. Build the Fence! Put Calderon on notice that America is a sovereign nation and that we will not tolerate him sending illegals across our borders for him to tax them and make money off his own people. Who knows who comes across the border! Terrorists? MS13? Calderon needs to get the Mexican government under control and rebuild his own country. I am not against migrant workers, the documented workers. But, I believe that documented workers should only be for farms/farming. Big business and Corporations have been able to utilize lower pay to illegals thus garnishing profit off of American laborers. Penalize businesses that use illegals. Jeopardize their license if they are habitual offenders. Put Americans back to work. I am not against immigration. I welcome new citizens of the United States; just done the legal way.

Both politicians offer Change.

However, I tend to look at the whole picture. WHO is behind the candidates? WHO are their surrogates? What are their ideals?

With Obama, we see the ACORN/CREW intimidation, the CODE PINK diehards, the “Progressives” and their radical views.

With McCain, we see the “machine” the “Mavericks” the new winds of Washington. So as an American, I will take the chance and vote McCain/Palin this year. Why you ask? Because I want America to stay America, not become some sweeping “New” radical handout government.

Here is another hint: Democrats for Obama….. quit playing the “race” card and the racism rants. It is getting old. By doing the “race card” rants, Obama and his campaign are reversing all the work by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This has nothing to do with race; get over it. It has to do with experience; Obama’s judgment (why he didn’t pick Hillary as his VEEP), his views on foreign policy, etc.

Confirming Biden as the VP just confirms what I have thought all along. That Obama/Biden are PRO United Nations and will sell America to the world poverty/Social movement plan.

Our Constitution will change. Obama’s campaign has already squelched any opposition to him by controlling internet discussions, “scrubbing” websites, and obviously controlling all major new media. First amendment anyone? Obama’s thoughts to control hand guns/Americans right to bear arms….Second amendment anyone? Voter intimidation at the polls and the threats issued by poll sitters…..Nineteenth amendment anyone? Does anyone else see a pattern here?

Obama is trying to make “off limits” any investigations into his past, his friendships to certain individuals, his past religious affiliations, yet has turned loose the “thugs” to smear Palin unmercifully. Obama claims his wife and children are “off limits” but allows unfettered lies to be broadcast by his internet thugs, yet claims no responsibility. Right! Anyone else see a pattern here? Kind of like the mafia; the Don gives orders and they filter down to the soldiers so no claim can be associated with them.

Is this where we really want America to head? Into a thug controlled country? That is what it looks like to me. The “National Civilian Security Force” as large as and funded as well as our US military (spoken by Obama at a Colorado rally). Does this give anyone an uneasy feeling? It does me.

I am a patriot first and foremost. I will defend America from its enemies both at home and abroad. Will I have to defend America on election day (November 4^th)? I am beginning to believe so…….

Will Americans wake up and stand up against the thugs that are currently prevalent in American politics? I hope and pray they do…..

If not, they only have themselves to blame.
