Obama Resume?
People believe that many former Clinton supporters are just mad because she didn’t win. Of course we’re mad, many factors contributed to the loss that never should have happened. The moronic handling of Florida and Michigan for one. Howard Dean needs to resign, he made a mockery of this primary, he bears the most blame for the tremendous split in the party and even now he refuses to take responsibility for his mistakes. However for many of us it goes much deeper.
Let’s take a good look at Senator Obama’s history. We know that he worked as a community organizer in Chicago, we know that he has established ties with Farrakhan and has employed members of his establishment. We know that he switched religions when he entered public life. At the beginning of this campaign he was proud of his church affiliation, that only changed when the public found out what kind of hate was preached at his church. The message was being preached long before the media scrutinized it, Obama should have left that church long before did. There was no excuse for his membership in such a church. We know that Obama was “elected” to office by disqualifying all the other candidates on technicalities. We know that he was a member of the state legislature. We have his spin on his accomplishments there, however he cannot point to any particular achievement there that would make him qualified to be President. Now we get to his lackluster Senate career. According to Congresspedia’ website “He’s missed 23.7 percent of his votes, according to vote-tracking databases. The issues he did not cast ballots on ranged from the symbolic to the significant, and included measures on abortion, homeland security, bridge safety, foreign aid, the alternative minimum tax and a failed no-confidence vote on Attorney General Alberto Gonzales in June”. Obama has not even bothered to do the job that he has now, why should we expect better of him if elected. Recently we have heard a lot about Afghanistan from him, yet not once have I heard him say that he failed the American people on Afghanistan. For 2 years he has chaired the committe that oversees NATO, including the campaign in Afghanistan. Had he been doing his job he could have brought changes to the area. All I see is failure and lack of leadership.
Now let’s look at how his campaign has been handled. We all remember the comment made by Bill Clinton regarding Obama’s Attacks on Hillary war voting record. The comment was not racial in any sense. Nobody but someone looking to create a racial war could construe it as a racial comment. The Obama surrogates screamed racism and used it as a rallying cry in the South. Politics of race in modern America, led by African Americans. The lies worked and a Party Icon was smeared by the same people that he had spent years working for. Amazingly the only politician with the guts to say Bill was not a racist was President Bush. The only politician who tried to stop the spread of the lie was a man who could have stood by and laughed as a former President was slandered. Bush had the guts to speak out while Obama did nothing, a common theme for Obama isn’t it “do nothing” just like how he’s been doing his job. There were other surrogates for Hillary who were equally crucified by the Obama people, but when Michelle Obama says something that is clearly offensive to us, she is off limits according to Obama. The man has no credentials to be President. He is a divider and an opportunist. I am not voting for McCain just because I am a Clinton supporter, I am voting for McCain because he is the most qualified to lead this country. McCain has often times crossed his party line and suffered for it. I remember in 2004 when Kerry was considering McCain for his VP. Of course now Kerry is trying to vilify McCain, I guess we dodge one when he was defeated, nothing worse than someone that the truth doesn’t matter to.
