Obama camp doesn’t think they need our votes

I am amazed at how confident the Obama camp appears to be right now. Their supporters are actively attacking Hillary Clinton supporters with such comments as stay home or vote for McCain. Do they not remember that 18 million of us voted for Hillary, an amount equal to or greater than the amount of votes cast for Obama. Do they not realize that without our votes they don’t have a chance, are they (like the DNC) just ignorant of the fact that our votes added to the republican votes equal a McCain victory. As for the convention in Denver, an open ballot must be voted on, including Hillary on the ballot. Should the DNC decide to just annoint Obama without following the proper process, I will strip every democratic candidate of my vote in the general. It is called a protest vote, not crybaby or bitter, just a protest. Obama is not qualified, but his supporters need to shut the hell up, further offending over half of the Democratic Party is just plain stupid. Because of this attitude would never vote for him now.

  1. Several nights ago, a young man came to my door to encourage me to vote for Obama. I said to him, “If Hillary is the VP, all those who supported Obama will vote for Obama, and all those who voted for Hillary will also support them both. So it’s a no brainer!. Why won’t Obama accept here as VP?”

He replied, “Obama doesn’t need Hillary”.

Ok, then he doesn’t need 18 million votes. I say 4 years for McCain will get 8 years with Hillary.

  2. Folks, Hillary HAD 18 million votes during the primaries. The primaries are over now and she no longer has 18 million supporters. The majority of those 18 million are Democrats or disaffected Republicans who will vote for Obama.

You’re not as strong as you thing you are…no offense just common sense.

  3. Oh and if she still has 18 million supporters, why hasn’t she been able to retire her campaign debt? When my candidate needs money, I pay. I pay to show my support in a meaningful and helpful way. Blogs are great and “Democrats for McCain” bumper stickers really do send a message. Retiring Hillary’s debt would send a bigger message and seeing how that hasn’t happened…I’m starting to wonder.

  4. Getoverit,
Given the polls released today showing McCain now leading Obama do you really think every vote doesn’t count. Look at Florida in 2000, your golden child seems to be alienating more people every day, probably because of posts made by people like you.

  5. My blog was suspended from this site…I guess freedom of speech only counts when I falling in line with the PUMAs.

  6. OutrageDemocrat,

You’re right…every vote does count and I don’t take for granted that angry Hillary supporters can ruin this thing for the rest of us. However, since we’re recalling history, Bush was reelected in 2004. You’re taking a very big gamble assuming that if you elect McCain into office, Hillary will win in 2012.

You couldn’t even ensure that she would win the primary…how on earth can you control a general election in 4 years?

  7. Also, I realize that you support Hillary and that’s great. When I lived in New York, I supported her for Senator. All of you PUMAs think that you’re standing up for her but the truth is that Hillary is a US Senator and a multimillionaire…she’s going to be OK.

I am not a millionaire and this republican economy is scaring me to death. I’m terrified that I’ll lose my job and that I won’t be able to pay my mortgage. Whatever lack of experience you feel limits Barack’s ability to ably run this country will be balanced out by his cabinet and the many “expert” advisors that he will have around him.

But forget common sense, continue to cut off your nose to spite your face and I’ll continue to pray that you come to your senses in November.
